  • ·2 1/4 tsp instant yeast~7 gYeast
  • ·1/4 cup sugar~50 gWhite Sugar
  • ·1 1/4 cups cold butter (for laminating)~284 gButter
  • ·1 1/2 tsp salt~9 gSalt

Steps

  1. 1Mix flour, milk, yeast, sugar and salt into a dough; chill 1 hour.
  2. 2Pound the cold butter into a flat square.
  3. 3Encase the butter in the rolled dough and fold in thirds.
  4. 4Roll and fold twice more, chilling 30 minutes between folds.
  5. 5Roll thin, cut triangles, and roll each into a crescent.
  6. 6Proof 2 hours until puffy, brush with egg wash.
  7. 7Bake at 400°F for 18–20 minutes until deep golden.
